1994-1995: She prepared some choreographies for the dance Company “Astra Rome Ballet” directed by Diana Ferrara, first dancer of House Theatre in Rome.
Winner of “DANZALAZIO Award ” first edition, for the best choreography of contemporary dance, assigned by: Franca Bartolomei, Lia Calizza, André De la Roche, Roberta Garrison, Walter Zappolini, Vittorio Biagi, Fara Grieco, Yannick Boquin and Kramissa Koldamova president of jury
1995: she formed the “Gruppomagnetika” company that had to its credit 20 productions in repertory and debuted in this same year with the production entitled “Eclipses”
In December of the same year for Telethon, in collaboration with the association “Viva Il Teatro” was represented the show “Tragedy” on inspiration of the Greek tragedies of Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides.
1996: In January she was called to Vienna for the creation of a choreography for first international dancers, on music by Addinsel.
In the same year in collaboration with the association: “Viva il Teatro” was produced the show “the infringed love” freely taken from the book by Laura Costa
For the summer season the company brought in repertoire two shows: “Eclipses” and “Fragments”, with word-class guests dancers
1997: It was produced the show “… In order to fly” successfully represented in various Italian theatres, including the Brancaccio theatre in Rome
At Victoria Theatre in Rome it was reproposed the show “The infringed love”
In October the company took part in the co-production of the show “Farewell masquerade”, first performance at Manzoni theatre in Rome for the 32 ° Days of Music Festival
In December of the same year Gruppomagnetika performed at Brancaccio Opera House in Rome with the show “… In order to fly”
1998: The company left for a prestigious one month tour in Malaysia performing in the shows “… In order to fly” and ” Masquerade “executed for the royals and for the highest Malaysian authorities
In the same year on commission of the Municipality of Rome and Enrico Castiglione (organizer of the” Easter Festival “), debuted at Brancaccio Opera House the show “Quem Quaeritis? ” (who are you looking for?), the first time in the history of dance is represented the life of Jesus Christ. The theme was challenging but critics and spectators awarded Sonia Nifosi and her company
In the summer of the same year, Gruppomagnetika presented at Magellano theatre in Ostia “Iroloc” on music by Pink Floyd
In November it was reported on stage the show “Quem Quaeritis?” as part of the exhibition “Islands in the stream”, organized by “Sipario Aperto” association
1999: Continued the reruns of “Quem Quaeritis?”, it was reconfirmed the participation of the company at the “Easter Festival” reproposing the success and that will be inserted by the Artistic-Cultural commission responsible for the official events of the Great Jubilee 2000.
In the summer season the municipality of Rome dedicated a space to the company at Parco Talenti as part of the “Estate romana”, where are represented shows like “Iroloc” and “Come and go from the hill” on music by Fabrizio De Andrè.
In the same year continued the reruns of “Quem Quaerities” represented at national level
2000: continued the tour in Italy of the company with “Quem Quaeritis?” which collected great success and that began to be represented also for elementary, middle and high schools.
At the same time the company prepared itself to debut in “Estate romana” with new productions: ” The Wall ” on music by Pink Floyd, ” Nude ” on music by New Trolls, ” Smooth ” on music by Santana, and finally ” the show must go on “on music by Queen
In July, at the request of the province, it was proposed “Quem Quaeritis?” at Palazzo Valentini, seat of Lazio region
2001: Sonia Nifosi and her company worked on a new project: “Flight among thoughts of light”, on original music by Mauro Bagella, which will have great success of critics and public
2002: In the summer was produced the show “Hat coat and umbrella” on music by Claudio Tallino, represented in various theaters of Rome
The company of Sonia Nifosi was recognized by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities from 2000 to 2002 and was inserted together with other 14 Italian companies (including: The Ensemble-Micha Van Hoecke, Danza Prospettiva Vittorio Biagi, Aton Dino Verga, etc…) chosen for quality and trend in the program of Roma Europa Festival in the CD-ROM “multimedia platform of contemporary Italian Dance 2002”
2003: In May Sonia Nifosi and her company were invited to represent Italy at the 6th European Dance Festival with the largest companies in the world, organized by the Cypriot Ministry of Culture under the sponsorship of the Commission of the European Union and with the cooperation of the Institutes of Culture and embassies of the member countries receiving great success of critics and audience
In the same year it was proposed “Flight among thoughts of light” in various Lazio’s theatres.
2004: Continued the reruns of the show “Flight among thoughts of light”
2005: It was produced at Orione theatre in Rome “Friends without borders” review of dances, music and costumes from various countries of the world organized for elementary, middle and upper schools
In April of the same year Sonia Nifosi was guest at the Olimpic Theatre with her company which performed in “Proemio” the evening in which Sonia Nifosi won the International Award “Golden Pegasus” to the artistic talent and career
2006: In collaboration with FAO went on stage at D’Annunzio theatre in Latina
The spectacle “Intermittences of the heart” attended by Gina Lollobrigida and with the participation of the first violin Anyla Kraya and the pianist Fabiana Biasini with the sponsorship of the City of Latina
2007: By popular demand after the first edition of 1999 Sonia Nifosi and the Theatre Dance Company (Gruppomagnetika) are guests at Dell’angelo theatre in Rome with the show “Come and go from the hill” on music by Fabrizio De Andrè
2009: Sonia Nifosi and her company at Dell’Angelo theatre in Rome with the show “Padam, Padam… Piaf! ” Music, theatre, dance and poetry in a gestural vision inspired by the enchantment of Edith Piaf’s voice and her “Vie en Rose”
2010: Sonia Nifosi and her new company the Sonia Nifosi Motion Dance Group debuted at Dell’angelo theatre in Rome with the new production : “Juliet of the spirits. These and other ghosts.” Eight visions freely taken from the homonymous movie by Federico Fellini.
Original music by Mauro Bagella, text and sound preparation of the word by Marialisa Monna and Video elaborations by Nicola Manuel Tallino, artists with whom Sonia Nifosi shared the project of a theatre intended as a vast multi-artistic score
2011: In May the company debuted in world’s preview at the Greek Theatre in Rome with the show “Studio apartment for Sale”, it was the second work that Sonia Nifosi realized together with Mauro Bagella, Marialisa Monna and Nicola Manuel Tallino
2012: In March Sonia Nifosi Motion Dance Group company debuted in Venice with the show “of the proof and of the journey” leaving for a tour touching the major cities of our peninsula. In April the company was the special guest in Loreto on the occasion of the III Forum youth Salesian movement Central Italy-to the source of love with the show “in the name of the father” a study by Sonia Nifosi inspired by the life of Jesus and to the figurative tradition from the 300 century to the present day
2013: In May Sonia Nifosi Motion Dance Group company debuted in National preview at the Ambra Theatre in Rome with “moments, hand in hand” show of Nicola Manuel Tallino, choreography by Sonia Nifosi, music by Marillion
In December the Sonia Nifosi Motion Dance Group company debuted at Dell’Angelo theatre in Rome with “La Vie En Rose”, the itinerary of dance music and theatre inspired by the life and enchantment of Edith Piaf’s voice, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the French singer’s death. Texts directed and choreographed by Sonia Nifosi, with the participation of Antonello Avallone as Jean Cocteau, artistic consultancy Giammichele Meloni
In December of 2015 by great demand on the occasion of the centenary of Edith Piaf’s birth, Sonia Nifosi Motion Dance Group debuted with the show “Edith Piaf, everything has yet to begin”, a third and new edition inspired by the tragic and exhilarating life of the sparrow of France at the Cavour Auditorium in Frascati (Rome)
In May 2016, the Sonia Nifosi Motion Dance Group company debuted in world premiere with “An American in Paris, the importance of ideas” at Dell’angelo theatre in Rome, a show inspired by the movie of 1951 directed by Vincent Minnelli, on music by the great Gershwin, not a musical but a theatre-dance show, a particular setting that pays homage to the extraordinary Gene Kelly (2 February 1996 – 2 February 2016 it marks twenty years after the artist’s death) and the great Minnelli (July 25, 1986 – July 25, 2016) marks the thirty years of the director’s death) and to the French impressionist painters. Lyrics, director and choreography by Sonia Nifosi. Great success of critics and public recording two Sold Out.
